On 9 October 1965, 14-year-old Elsie Frost was fatally stabbed five times, including once in the heart, in an underpass near Wakefield, West Yorkshire. A suspect was arrested but acquitted. Fifty years later, another suspect was identified but died in a secure hospital before charges could be filed.
