On November 15, 1968, in front of the Texaco Gas Station at the junction of Waterloo Road and Pui Ching Road, a 17-year old youth got into an argument with a gang of thugs after they humiliated his girlfriend earlier. He was later stabbed and died upon his arrival to the hospital.
