On January 6, 2020 early in the money, at Block 3 in the Ngau Tau Kok resettlement estate (where Kwai Leung House stands today), a 25-year old man asked his wife for money in the flat of his mother-in-law where he also lived in. But he was turned down and desperately attempted to set fire. His mother-in-law and brother-in-law were woken by the noise and fortunately managed to put out the fire with a quilt but were hurt by the man with a bottle. The man then escaped.

1970年1月6日，晨早在牛頭角新區第3座（今日貴亮樓位置），一名25歳跟岳母家同住之男子與妻子要錢不遂，一怒之下在家中縱火，幸好岳母和小舅被吵醒，及時用被子將火撲熄，但糾纏間被啤酒樽擊傷。男子之後逃去。
