Photographed in black and white film on April 5, 2020, at 9 Nam Kok Road in Kowloon City.

At 8 pm on April 5, 1970, the Lam brothers who rented the rooftop at No. 9 Nam Kok Road, Kowloon City saw a power outage when they were about to cook, so they went to the second floor to check with the owner, the Chiu brothers. It turned out that the Chius turned off the power to the rooftop because they owed rent. The Lams asked to turn on the power again but were refused. The two sides quarrelled fiercely and then fought violently. Some even picked up scissors as weapons. Other tenants at the scene tried to dissuade them but failed, and five people were injured in the end, including Mr. Wong and Ms. Chan who simply mediated.
