At 8:45 a.m. on March 15, 1971, 17-year-old Choi Yam-hang left his home in Block 44 (now Ching Yi House, Tsz Ching Estate) in Tsz Wan Shan Resettlement Estate. Walking near Block 61 (now Tsz Man Estate Carpark), he was suddenly attacked by more than a dozen people. Men with knives and sticks surrounded him and then attacked him. Choi fell with serious injuries, and the assailants fled. And later, a passer-by called the police and the injured was sent to the hospital for treatment.

1971年3月15日上午 8:45， 17歲的蔡任項離開位於慈雲山新區44座（今慈正邨正怡樓）的家出門， 步行至61座（今慈民邨停車場）附近時， 突然遭到十多名持刀和木棍的男子包圍，隨即對其伺襲。蔡重傷倒地，兇徒立即逃去無蹤，後為途人代為報警，送醫院救治。
