At about 10:20 p.m. on June 9, 1972, 17-year-old Fung Lau-chuen met with a friend at Sun Do Restaurant at No. 63 Wan Chai Road. For some reason, he argued with more than a dozen men at the next table. The two sides fought fiercely, and the gang even resorted to sharp knives. Outnumbered, Fung fell severely injured with multiple stab wounds in head, hands and abdomen, while his friend escaped. The thugs fled after the attack, and the restaurant staff called the police and sent the injured to the hospital for emergency treatment.

1972年6月9日晚上約10時20分，17歲的馮留全跟一友人於灣仔道63號新都餐廳聚會，不知何故與鄰桌十多名男子爭執起來。雙方大打出手，群黨更使出利刀，寡不敵眾，馮的頭、手和腹部中多刀重傷倒地，朋友則突圍逃出，免於傷害。兇徒呈凶後逃去，餐廳職員及後報警將傷者送院急救。
