So, love, this is my song...

24 second long soundtrack in an audiocassette tape with case, 10.9 x 6.9 x 1.7 cm, 2016

This audio track is an excerpt from a YouTube video of Petula Clark’s live performance of This Is My Song presented by German radio channel NDR1 in 2001 (exact date and venue unknown). This Is My Song was written by Charlie Chaplin as a soundtrack for his 1967 film A Countess From Hong Kong The footage found by Leung ends with a fireworks display... Without any visual reference, and with the addition of the text “Day Free of Bomb Incidents” (headline of the South China Morning Post, August 27, 1967) etched onto the cassette case the exploding sounds in the original soundtrack are read as something other.
