A female photographer walks past the gunpowder drawing by the famous Chinese artist and contemplates its hammered price at almost 18 million CNY. Perhaps she is a recent fine arts graduate, also hoping to make a living from her art creation, but now as a full- time photographer for an art magazine, she has not much spare time left for herself. Her last painting might have been made more than a year ago.
